2014-10-19 - 5:35 p.m. I'd give anything to go back, with the knowledge I have now, to the days when I was much younger. I'd relive my teen years, painful though they were sometimes, with relish. I'd enjoy every moment, knowing that I was healthy and loved. I'd make the most of every single second, because I'd know what was coming, how in ten short years, I would be told that my life was no longer something I could take for granted. This disease probably won't kill me. But never again will I live with abandon. Never again will I live without fear. |
