2006-02-07 - 1:59 p.m. And then I said... "have fun sailing your wooden boat asshole!" In my head of course. Its so awsome to have the house to yourself, a book, a pot of coffee and a really bored dog following you everywhere.And then there's the YMCA. The YMCA has a spectacular veiw of suburban hell, like oregon hell but not as enticing. You can work out, look at all the bleak ugly houses you never want to end up in, and then watch all the bleak mothers bring in their ugly kids and pray that you never spend two afternoons a week sharing a bannana with some ADD brat before you sit and watch them splash around in the pool, discreatly munching the candy you wouldn't let the kid have, and spending considerable amounts of time trying to adjust your sweater in order to best hide the love handles. Then its just a short walk to starbucks, where you can sip your latte and feel smug, glad that you will never let that happen to you. Sipping your latte, totally doomed. Ahh fuck, I love a good latte. |
