"I dont know what you're trying to say,
But you keep on talking anyway,
Your lungs on fire and it's hard to breathe,
So you keep on burning gasoline,
You're over tired, and you need a rest,
But you keep on working under stress.
And a heart attack or maybe two,
Cant stop you doin' those things you do,
And your anger grows, so more people die,
With no one hearing their children cry,
They grow up mad, and they grow up hurt,
And they strike right back at those who hurt them,
As they lay you down on your dying bed,
You cant see what's wrong with the life you led,
You pray to god and you ask for more,
This cant be right, it's not an even score,
You gave your cash, and you bought them stuff,
How could that not have been enough?
To justify the horrid things you did?
And the burning lungs of all those kids..."

I was just feeling frustrated because of all the crappy stuff that society as a whole does to the earth and our environment which effects our health. More and more kids are growing up with athsma, and more and more people die from it every year...and yet we keep burning tons of gasoline and tearing up the trees that clean the air... We go to war, and kill tons of people, and then wonder why there's so much anger in the world... It just makes me sad a lot of the time...
I'm not trying to preach or tell anyone that they dont live their lives correctly, I'm just trying to point out the obvious faults in our societies and get rid of some of the anger that I have towards them, so I wrote that song to try and do that.
